Liam’s Walmart Shopping Adventure

8-year-old Liam is a very happy, outgoing, child who loves spending time with his family. Ever since he was a toddler, he has had high energy that lights up the room. Mom says, “Being around Liam makes you feel magical.”

At just two years old, Liam was diagnosed with Hypothalamic Glioma. This deadly disease has acquired multiple treatments that were not successful. Unfortunately, Liam has recently been declared legally blind in one eye. Although Liam can barely see his “Shopkins” toys, he uses his tactile senses for imaginative play. Liam has a large collection of “Shopkins” and is still collecting! One can never have enough of the tiny grocery store toys!

When asked what his wish is, Liam said “I want a shopping spree at Walmart. I need more” Shopkins”. Children’s Wish Foundation was happy to fulfill Liam’s wish! Liam purchased many toys including: the board games Mouse Trap and Candyland, new television, and of course tons of “Shopkins”. Liam even purchased a giant singing Santa Claus “to watch over the tree”.

Liam had a blast shopping. He said, “thank you Children’s Wish Foundation for giving me my wish.”
