Alex Visits the Savoy Automobile Museum

Alex, 10, has had a bump in the road in his first ten years of life. Battling a brain neoplasm has been tough on him and his family. Between hospital stays and doctor appointments, Alex hasn’t had much time to enjoy himself. Alex has a love for older cars. His favorite is a ‘57’ Chevy Bel Air. When Alex wished to go to the Savoy Auto Museum, Children’s Wish Foundation could not wait to fulfill this wish.

Children’s Wish Foundation partnered with the savoy Auto Museum to make this event extra special for Alex.  Upon his arrival, a surprise waited for him at the entrance of the Museum. He was picked up in a ‘57’ Chevy Bel Air to cruise around in style. Alex made his way through the museum gasping in excitement at all the cars. His fun didn’t stop there, he received a private tour that was curated just for him and his family!

After his tour, Alex and his family were treated to lunch at the museum’s café.  Mom told us “Alex had a blast.” We are so grateful that we were able to provide a special outing for Alex and his family. They were able to make memories that they will forever hold on to.
