WISH FULFILLMENT PROGRAM

Our flagship program remains our Wish Fulfillment Program and through it, to date, we’ve fulfilled thousands of Wishes for children in 53 countries.

How do I refer a child?

Anyone can refer a child they think may qualify-- simply go to the Refer A Child section on our website and complete the Referral form or contact our office with basic information on the child. Children’s Wish Foundation International will contact the family to begin the process.

Who qualifies for a Wish from Children's Wish Foundation?

In order to qualify for a Wish, a child needs to be under the age of eighteen when the completed application arrives at our office. The child must be diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and the Wish must truly be the child’s Wish, allowing them to fully experience the once-in-a-lifetime wish.

What can a child Wish for?

We never put our Wishes into categories and no two Wishes are ever alike! Our Wish Coordinators make up a professional team with over 20 years of experience in creating unique, carefree Wishes that, depending on the type of Wish, include all travel arrangements, accommodations, tickets, full detailed itineraries, expense money, volunteer support, carefully planned presentations to fit the family’s schedule, and the promise of lots of surprises along the way. Every detail is planned to perfection, allowing the family to enjoy “Family Time”, creating precious memories to forever cherish.

What if a child is not old enough to write their wish?

For those children who are unable to verbalize their Wish either because of their age or cognitive level, we’ve created our Young Minds Program to fit their needs. YOUNG MINDS PROGRAM

Some Wish children that are referred to us are too young to decide what they wish for, yet their illness demands their wish be fulfilled with a sense of urgency. Children's Wish Foundation offers the young Minds program for children under the age of three or whose cognitive level is under the age of three.

Young Minds recipients receive:

• TV with DVD player and DVD collection
• CD Player with music collection
• Toy and doll collection
• Comfort Station with Rocker
• Activity Assortment
