Wish Kids
Daniel, 10 | Neurofibromatosis
Neurofibromatosis is a disorder that forms tumors on the nerve endings that transmit sounds to the brain.
Like most kids, Daniel is a sports fanatic! Unfortunately his disease causes frequent headaches, pain, dizziness and progressive hearing loss that can distract him from fully enjoying the sports atmosphere. He never lets this get in the way of following his favorite hockey team, the St. Louis Blues. Thanks to special donors, Children’s Wish Foundation sent Daniel to a St. Louis Blues game where he met all the players!
And that is not all, he also had his hockey stick autographed by Doug Weight, his favorite player. As the players skated on to the ice, they gave Daniel a big high five that was shown on the jumbotron. Daniel and his dad were then invited to the radio booth where he did some play-by-play commentary with an announcer. He had one incredible night he will never forget!
"No child should have to live life from a hospital bed. Thanks to the generous support of donors, beautiful children have been able to spend their precious time living out their fondest dream."
